Language Partners Program - Individual Classes

Registration OPEN year-round

The language partners program matches immigrants with a trained volunteer for individual classes. The hours are flexible to accommodate students' and volunteers’ schedules. We provide a fun and respectful environment to improve students’ confidence and English communication skills or get the help the student needs to pass the citizenship test.

  • ENGLISH – at least one hour per week – a volunteer will provide classes tailored to students who need to learn or improve their English Language skills. All levels welcome.

  • CITIZENSHIP – at least one hour per week – a volunteer will provide classes tailored to students who want to study for the Citizenship test, helping with the Civics part and with the English language skills. Students must be at least at English level 3 to be assigned to a tutor.
