Story Time WEEKLY STORY TIMES 

ALL AGES STORYTIME

Wednesdays at 9:30 & 10:30 a.m. & Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. 

Bring your children for 30 minutes of stores and songs.

                            

TODDLER STORYTIME 

Tuesdays 9:30 a.m.

For caregivers with toddlers - walkers up to 3 years. Bring your children for 30 minutes of stories and songs that are perfect for toddlers.

 

                                                                      BABY LAPSIT STORYTIME 

                                                                     Thursdays 9:30 a.m.

                                                                       For caregivers of non-walking babies. Bring your children for 30                                                                                 mins of stories and songs that are perfect for little ones who haven't                                                                           started walking yet.

IN-N-OUT READING PROGRAM

March 2 - April 13

Ages 4-12

Reading and Listening Counts!

Come fill out a registration card and pick up a reading log. Read five books and earn a free hamburger or cheeseburger from IN-N-OUT BURGER.

Lego Club

LEGO Club

April 6, 3 - 4 p.m.

For Ages 8 - 14

Children under age 8 must be accompanied by an adult. 

Design, construct, and create your own LEGO creations. Build from a theme or use your imagination to make a brand-new creation.

 

LEGO Sorting Session

April 6, 2:30 - 3 p.m.

Sort portions of our massive LEGO collection by color, size, and special function to facilitate creative building projects throughout the year.

DogDenise Gard's Dog Shows on a Quest

March 29, 11 - 11:45 a.m.

For Families with Children of All Ages

The Dragon’s egg is missing, and the dragon is angry! Can Denise Gard’s famous Border Collies, Joey and Kira, work together to find the egg, or will they become dragon bait? In this medieval tale full of dog tricks, we’ll need everyone’s help to rescue the dragon’s egg and save the Kingdom!

For Families with Children of All Ages

Children can decorate a cardboard box as a car, then park it in front of our big screen to watch the Disney movie Cars. Snacks and drinks provided.

Littleton Youth Ballet Presents:

Excerpts from The Wizard of Oz

November 27, 3 -3:45 p.m.

For Families with Children Ages 3 and Older 

The young dancers (ages 8-19) from Littleton Youth Ballet will present a free dance showcase featuring excerpts from their recent production of The Wizard of Oz!  Dorothy, the Scarecrow, Tinman, and Lion journey through Oz and find that there’s no place like home! This is a perfect way to introduce your children to the ballet.

StoryWalk®

Gallup Gardens

Laminated pages from a picture book are attached to signs which are placed along a path through Gallup Gardens (park next to Bemis Library).  Simply begin at sign #1, then follow the numbered signs along the path to read the full story.  Books will be changed monthly.

Bemis Cultural Pass

Bemis Public Library Cultural Pass

Bemis Public Library cardholders can visit several metro-Denver cultural attractions for free or discounted rates with the Bemis Cultural Pass. Currently, Bemis offers passes to the Butterfly Pavilion, Denver Botanic Gardens, Museo de las Americans, Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum, and the Molly Brown House Museum.
